Tips
Cooking Tip 1
Of course our biggest tip is "slow and low". By this, we
mean always use a low tempature and plan to cook a little longer. Especially when
grilling, the sugar in our teriyaki sauce can easily burn if subjected to high heat, so watch
carefully! Baste with sauce while on the grill for additional flavor.
Cooking Tip 2
Marinate over night whenever possible. This allows the teriyaki flavor to really penetrate
the meat and offer that great flavor when prepared.
Cooking Tip 3
If using red meats, select ones that have some 'marbling' in them. This allows the teriyaki
sauce to marinade well.
Cooking Tip 4
When preparing previously cooked shredded or chopped meats, add teriyaki sauce while
heating to help flavor the meat and allow to 'simmer' in sauce before serving.
Cooking Tip 5
Pineapples and stone fruits previously marinated and or basted on the grill with teriyaki sauce
offer a unique popular exotic flavor.
